Martinez Bakery was first established in November of 1990, founded by Moises Martinez. Mr. Martinez started with nothing but “an oven and a dream," alongside his wife Audelia Martinez and two of his brothers Nicanor and Mario Martinez, two of the original bakers. After many years of hard work and dedication, he managed to purchase the building where the original Martinez Bakery sits at now located at 206 E. Florida Ave in Midland Tx. Martinez Bakery consists of Mexican pastries baked daily by hand. Esponjas, marranitos and empanadas are a few items named but many more are made daily. Aside from their famous pastries they are world famous for their Super Tortas and Tacos.

Mr. Martinez has two sons Moises Jr and Jorge Martinez, who continued his legacy to this day. The Permian basin had accepted the Martinez’s and their delicious food to which their younger son Jorge and his wife decided to open up a second location. Jorge and wife Clariza currently reside in Greenwood Tx a community east of Midland which is the current home of the newly formed Martinez Bakery Express LLC located at 1805 S.C.R 1105 Ste S ( The shops at Greenwood of FM 307 ). 

At Martinez Bakery Express we continue to serve the products sold at the original location with a couple of new items. One of Jorge’s passion is Barbeque which he’s introduced as the legendary Tejano Torta! 100% mesquite smoked brisket with homemade BBQ sauce.
